This explains what shipappfast.site collects and who it goes to. The data controller is Aniket Malik, a sole trader. For anything below, write to aniketmalikwork@gmail.com.

    What we collect

    Usage analytics

We use Google Analytics, via Firebase, to understand how the page is read. It records events such as page views, how far down the page you scrolled, which sections you reached, which buttons you pressed, which pricing tier you started buying, and which questions you opened, along with the usual technical details: approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser, and the referring site. We never use it to identify you by name, and we do not use it for advertising — advertising signals are switched off permanently, not by choice.

    When you start checkout

Nothing is asked of you here beyond what Polar needs to take the payment. Access to the code is granted by connecting your GitHub account to Polar after you order — you sign in to GitHub yourself, and Polar adds that account to the repository. We never see or store your GitHub password, and we do not ask you to type your username anywhere.

    When you buy

Payment is handled by Polar as merchant of record. They collect your name, email address, billing address, any tax identifier and your payment details. We never see or store card details. What reaches us is the order record: your name, email, what you bought, the amount, and the GitHub account you connected.

    Hosting

The site is served by Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard request logs including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics.

    Why we use it

    • To deliver what you bought — your username and order details, because we cannot send the invitation without them. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
    • To understand and improve the site — analytics, on the basis of consent where consent is required, and otherwise our legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the page work.
    • To keep records — orders and tax records, because the law requires it.

    Who it is shared with

We do not sell your data. It reaches these processors because they do the work:

    • Google (Firebase Hosting, Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics) — hosting and usage measurement.
    • Polar — payments, invoicing and tax, as merchant of record.
    • GitHub — checking that a username exists, and delivering repository access.

These providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country, under the transfer safeguards in their own agreements.

    Cookies

Analytics cookies are the only ones this site sets. The banner on your first visit decides whether we use one, and you can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

To be straightforward about what each answer does: declining does not switch measurement off. We still count the visit, but anonymously — no cookie is set, no identifier is stored, and nothing links this visit to your next one. Accepting sets one analytics cookie so a returning reader is not counted as a new one. Either way we are counting pages, not people, and blocking cookies in your browser works too. Polar sets its own cookies on its checkout pages, governed by its own policy.

    How long we keep it

    • Analytics — retained by Google according to the property's retention setting.
    • Order records — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
    • Your GitHub account — for as long as you have repository access, so that access can be managed.

    Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, or withdraw consent. Write to aniketmalikwork@gmail.com and we will respond within the period the law allows. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.

Deleting your order record is not always possible while tax law requires us to keep it, and removing your GitHub account means repository access can no longer be managed.

    Children

This site is sold to developers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

    Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be made obvious on the site.
